Educational Service Contracting (ESC)
Educational Service Contracting (ESC) is a partnership program by the Department of Education (DepEd) aimed at decongesting overcrowded public junior high schools. In ESC, the excess capacities of certified private junior high schools are “contracted” through slot allocations for students who would otherwise have gone to public schools. The slots come with subsidies called ESC grants, and program beneficiaries are called ESC grantees or, for the purposes of these guidelines, simply grantees. (DO 20 s. 2017).

Senior High Level
Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP)
Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP) is a program of financial assistance wherein subsidies in the form of vouchers are provided to qualified SHS learners in participating private or non-DepEd public SHSs.
All completers from public junior high schools are automatically qualified! Amount grant is Php 17,500.00 per School Year. All ESC completers will automatically avail Php 14,000.00 grant voucher.

Presidential Scholarship
Selected Junior and Senior High School learners who did not avail the slots for ESC Scholarship or SHS Voucher Program are granted of the Presidential Scholarship. Amount of grant is equal to the ESC or VP grant to the scholars.
